Meibes Solar Collectors

Everything begins with the solar collector and the performance of your entire system depends on the efficiency of this key component.  Meibes solar collectors are custom-designed and set the standard for both performance and reliability.  They are equipped with. a highly selective coating to maximize the solar heat absorption, a laser-welded, corrosion-resistant, aluminum frame, 30mm of insulation and an optimized ventilation design which effectively blocks debris and contamination.  The low iron, tempered solar glass is secured to the frame using an exclusive two part adhesive compound.  A modular mounting system allows the collectors to be used for both flush and rack mounted installations, and they have been designed to withstand 93 mph (150 km/h) winds and 26 lbs/ft2 (1.25 kN/m²) snow loads.
